Martin Guntrip is a British former professional tennis player.  He is a native of Kent, was a varsity tennis player for Flagler College in Florida, earning NAIA All-American honours in 1981. While competing on the professional tour in the early 1980s he made doubles main draw appearances at Wimbledon. Martin was ranked number nine in Great Britain in his tennis playing years.

Martin is currently Club Director of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, home to “The Championships”, visited by 500,000 visitors per year and viewed by 1.2 billion in over 201 countries – it is the largest annual sporting event in Europe and also the home of a year-round tennis club.  He is also responsible for the Wimbledon Foundation their charity and community arm.  Martin has been in the world of tennis for most of his life; having played in the Championships during the early 1980s.  His passion for the sport, and for the Wimbledon Foundation’s philanthropic work, comes through loud and clear.

Martin has a deep interest in Male Health and Wellbeing, keeping fit both physically and mentally keeps him going and ‘alive’.   Regarding top tennis players he says “They want to have all the right food, there is an increased focus on gyms, stretching areas, and a lot of them having ice baths after they play”.  Not everyone can have this but every man needs to look after their health and their wellbeing.  Through the Blue Ribbon Foundation we can bring back health and wellbeing to all men in showing them why they should take care of themselves with a good diet, keeping fit and being aware of their mental health.
